Meerie left the forum due to personal reasons, I don't think she will be back, sadly.

... But but... It was fun last year with the hurricane remnant / light rain!
Perhaps if I make it next year, it will rain for me. :p

Don't fret too much over the weather Eddie, I put in an early order for clear skies and warm (but not too warm) weather. I'm sure my order was received and will be honored.
The excitement is brewing!

Last year there was a torrential downpour with lightning and thunder and the whole works the minute I started giving my discussion. Also, a horse walked by for some reason. It would be nice to not have to scream my talk this year. :p

I am sure it will be good regardless the weather. It is official, my flight is booked, see you all soon.

Looking like it's gonna be hot...

I'm sure it's too late to set this up but it's too bad there isn't a way to stream the presentations via the In the Now radio station or even better have a video stream for those of us who can't attend.

We've discussed this possibility for future Homecomings, maybe it's something we can set up. Last year there was someone who gave a presentation from the UK over Skype. The technology is certainly available we just need to be able to wrap our heads around it. As for right now, we're running around like crazy getting all the finishing touches done. It's gonna be hot but that can't damper Homecoming spirits.

Ok, make that three words! p.s. This is despite his surreptitious plagiarism - we still love and accept him! <3

Did all of that just happen, or was it a weird, wonderful dream?
I took over a hundred photos, but here are just a few favorites. Standing between two enlightened masters. Jim offering inspiring words. Just before the UFO beamed us up to have tea with the Confederation.

I've noticed so many promised appearances for next year, I'm beginning to wonder if there will be a need to increase the limit of attendees.

Oh sweet, GOODIES! thank you
All with PowerPoint 2003 need to install a compatibility patch for the extension pptx to work. The program should prompt you with the chance to install it if you lack it. But so I can sleep better, here is the patch directly from microsoft.com https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...ng=en&id=3 or convert em to ppt, but for me it looked wacky, tryed it .p somewhat readable if ya are determined. used this site for it: http://www.convertfiles.com/

Thanks, Lycen, for the compatability patch information.
