however, in 3rd density a choice is made between the service-to-others path and the service-to-self path. These distinctions are factual and without judgement. But they seem to have a tendency to cause division within our own consciousness.

roughly speaking, sto=good and sts=evil, in popular connotations. The whole good/evil labels are very emotionally charged though, and much more judgemental than Ra's description of service-to-others and service-to-self.

I've had to overcome this tendency to see 'evil' people as not the creator.

I find it is hard when it's a friend because my brain's default is to not like/resonate with selfish people. Then I normally correct the though with a positive response like "It is there free will to choose there actions" as an example reminding myself that they are here to choose and learn at there own rate.

I think that it is easy to see the choosing of one path as the judgment of the other. After all, we are judging which path is best for us, and judging which path we would rather not walk. It's hard not to say "manipulating people is bad" when we feel that it is wrong for us to do so. Why would we choose a certain path if we didn't feel it was more right?

Awareness of that which we judge I think is the key to accepting it with this judgment. If we can maintain awareness of those characteristics which we'd prefer not to express (our shadows), then we can consciously offer love to these aspects of ourselves and others. Realizing that within each person is the entire Creator, and more specifically the entire spectrum of human behavior, we can accept that even the bad people are just as human as we are, just as much of the Creator.

If we deny that these characteristics exist within us and ignore our ability to behave in ways which we'd prefer not to, we are abhor parts of the Creator itself, and thus we abhor ourselves. All parts of the Creation deserve our love and acceptance, but without judging what is right and what is wrong, how would we be able to move at all?

I have no way to accurately measure if another being is of a certain polarization, save for actually living with them for an extended period of time...and even then it's something I do not actively try to observe...I see it as a fruitless endeavor...

In those brief moments in time when I was absolutely sure that someone was attempting a clearly STS act towards me, I've noticed that I simply do not give in to whatever they are trying to pull on me, and they lose interest in me verrrrry quickly.

Now here's the most intriguing thing to me by far about interactions with STS beings (or at least those who are simply attempting an STS act towards me)...These events are becoming more and more rare. I believe this shift into 4D of the planetary consciousness as well as my own efforts to live in my chosen path and be the best me that I know how to be, is essentially making it damn near impossible for STS beings to interact with me at all in any sense.

People should be free to live whatever life pleases them. I make no attempt to judge anyone, and I usually do not, nor do I try to. I have always been this way, and have always been highly empathetic, but since coming into contact with TLOO, this characteristic of me has amplified a lot.

Sometimes I still judge others, and by judge, I mean condemn their person, because I truly think STO is a smarter way to live, as it benefits us all. It just makes sense to me, and it helps to develop true freedom, and true peace throughout many lands. I've always felt that way, but again, TLOO amplified those feelings in me. But, sometimes it bitters me when I see so much STS behaviour in the world. I just think things can be a lot easier, and a lot simpler if more people treated others as they'd like to be treated.

But, it is what it is. All of us SHALL Live, Die, and Live again, by our own standards...by our own merits. This is the way it is!

I don't really believe in 'evil', but I do believe in confusion and the ability to become completely lost.

And Zen is right in a way, although I don't think he is considering your actual use of judgement in the way we normally do. In another thread about judging others I mentioned that I have no choice but to judge in order to make a decision how best to react. But this is not the same as the judgement you describe where we feel a subtle or blatant hatred for them simply because they are lost.

in a way, the left-hand path is the one which denies the heart of creation (green ray), and so they are not recognising the 'wholeness' of things.

and yet, any individual, no matter how 'positive' or 'right hand', unless they are totally clear and in the constant presence of unity, they too are not 'whole' at some level, and still enduring the effects of blockage and unclear perception of wholeness.

I think my own reactivity is my own sense of that lack of 'wholeness'; at whatever level it may be presenting itself.

I feel the concept of self-service needs to be contemplated intimately to be clear as to what it exactly is. Below is a good description of someone who is absorptive:

"The negatively oriented being will be one who feels that it has found power that gives meaning to its existence precisely as the positive polarization does feel..[]..These other-selves are conceived to be dependent upon the self and in need of the guidance and the wisdom of the self." ..also "These fifth-density entities see the creation as that which shall be put in order."

Forgetting the concepts of evil and terrible acts, in the above a negative person is described as someone who feels others need their guidance and wisdom. The majority of so-called positive spiritual types and your non-spiritual adepts fall into this category. Enlightened people absolutely love to correct others and wake them up in an attempt create order. So simply put, someone who takes catalyst and attempts to control it or guide it is self-serving.

It seems that that which distinguishes positive from negative is the approach to how catalyst is dealt with, and ultimately perceived. So when you encounter disharmony between yourself and another, if you find yourself saying "Well you need to do this or that." and "No, you're wrong and this is why." you're being absorptive. This is the quickness and sharpness of mind that a "negative" person embodies described by Ra in the Transformation of Mind. Someone who is negative attempts to keep their perspectives of another as other than self. So the key illuminating factor in all of this is how catalyst is ultimately perceived. When something stirs our emotions and we react, we're saying "What I'm encountering is something other than myself." But if you work with the catalyst, you begin to see the other as embodying traits of yourself, and possibly notice imbalances behind these reactions.

To come to these understandings is to radiate the light of creation. It seems to be the definition of positive service to others. Symbolically you're allowing the others/the infinite to express itself and move freely. When these realizations are achieved, on a metaphysical level you're merging with them, and in the process becoming crystallized, as the exterior is no longer something foreign and separate, but regular.

Now of course learning, sharing, and growing requires offering perspective and guidance. Amongst a group of seekers like this we can be more lenient with our perspectives. Out in the real world you have to be more patient and reserved. The only way to get to that place of balance is through trial and error, by purging negative vibrations, for a lack of a better way to put it. Say whatever you're thinking or feeling. And even with personal catalyst between yourself and another it's important to express yourself, which is a form of attempting to control. Then you can reflect, balance, and forgive yourself and the other. The more you do this, the less you feel the need to take it upon yourself to guide, and rather give when guidance is asked of you. "The purpose of carefully and consciously opening this channel is to serve in a more dependable way, in a more commonplace or usual way, as seen by the distortion complex of the healer."

I always think in terms of radiance and absorption..it seems to help the most. I ask myself, am I radiating or absorbing light? It's true magic. So I can't judge because we're all self-serving to begin with.

It can be very hard to change the way we instinctively feel about someone. On top of that, many feel the desire to 'change' people because of their attachment to them ie. Care about someone so try to stop the doing something we judge as harmful. Also, and this is the big one I find when concerning those we are closest too:
I have never been in a fight with a loved one were I hadn't projected a rejected trait of myself onto them, and attacked/rejected them and really just taken them for granted.
Also relationships are a two way street so they can do the same thing.

I'm not, but it's very hard to be because of the awareness of distinction and the underlying polar nature of this octave. Now, many great points have already been made so i'll just add a few in my own terms.

Now all this talk of 'right hand, left hand', do humans not have two hands? Beings are capable of the different paths for a reason, everything exists to be experienced. If it was not be experienced it would not exist in potentiation.

To be aware of distinction in an infinite (whole/one) universe is simply to be aware of the different levels of potential differentiation within the infinite matrix. There are lessons everywhere and the emotional charge held by creators learning slants the outcome of what is learnt/experienced. what I mean is please don't let me or anyone else tell you how to feel about this. You have the galactic 'right' of choosing, and while some paths are easier than other you have the ability to choose for yourself. The emotional energies that influence action and therefore, experience (of action etc.), are one of the greatest ways of expanding potential of experience.

Now, as for me personally, being consciously both STS and STO in this lifetime I can tell you both have their perks and are just as important as the other. However there is much potential for disarrangement of the mind on the STS path and the unpolarised selfish/power hungry entity is not one i'd wish to be (again). This is to say I occasionally find myself scoffing at (judging) many STS beings (many still in the grey area of polarisation, but on that side) that are driven by impulse and greed as they strike me as apelike/childish. This is mainly due to residual spiritual narcissism from my younger days. This is a distortion I am working on to remove but I still catch myself every now and then.

Yes and no. I've come to totally accept people with a closed heart. This was never too difficult for me.

However, it still bothers me to deal with anyone who have a closed or blocked blue and actively take steps to deceive (either through STS deception oriented beliefs, or merely unpolarized distortions). A work in progress for me. It's getting easier when I remind myself of what it means to act without blue.

Reflections of yourself in the other and insights are always waiting to be found. If you can find your own reflection especially, then it becomes impossible to judge as you'd be judging yourself.

Insights can be complex and not obvious, which is what is being described in the Transformation of the Mind (99.8), where the sharpness of the intellect is able to keep separation in tact by creating justifications as to why you and the other are different. Take for instance overweight people. As someone who is very thin my reflection is not immediately apparent. People unfortunately easily judge overweight people, but we all embody their traits. Being overweight could be broken down symbolically to simply represent lack of movement, lack of motivation, and attachment to substance. I've certainly been lazy in the past and lacked motivation by not tending to what needs to be done. There is a lot to be done in terms of healing and rebuilding society, so there are many opportunities for service but I don't exactly give as much as I could. That's a lack of movement. Also, I've easily indulged in things and have had a hard time saying no when it comes to catalyst of the body. So I'm not any different than someone who is overweight.

So while the reflection is not immediately apparent, it can be found. The rocking back and forth described in the Transformation of Mind (100.6), eventually abandoning this sharpness of mind and using external reflections to see yourself is to make use of the deep mind. The deep mind seems to represent these insights that lay way beneath the surface. This whole balancing process is movement from sts to sto, choosing light over dark.

Also I just realized that in that card, the person is possibly hugging themselves..love of self over others..which I think is what Ra might be suggesting in 99.8 when they ask the group to consider what the triangle means. To uncross the arms and hold them outwardly would represent radiance, and opening itself to others.

I tend to feel that I will probably repeat 3D, even though I desperately wish to graduate. Even so, I'm not out there serving, except for my mom. I try to help her when I can, taking her to appointments, and other stuff. But on the other hand I tend to be lazy. I could probably do small stuff over time to help the world, rather than trying to make major leaps.

But I also feel like I could take a large amount of Creator's love/light in order to be harvestable. I love myself, and I love others.

I try not to judge people or speculate where they may or may not be in terms of polarization. I wasn't born awake, and I can't judge when a person will open their eyes. If anything, it's like looking at your past self. I prefer to see everyone as a teacher, offering an attempt to learn by seeing my reflection.

You are seeking the Creator, I believe you are doing a good job.

I think the majority of the religion systems are following the rules without sufficient polarisation to graduate. Otherwise almost half of the world population would graduate which is not seem to happen (remenber Venus, a very positive 3th density planet only 20% was ready to graduate). The Earth is far less positive.

Bashar says that you will find yourself where you need to be, when you need to be there. So where I am, graduating or not, will be completely my choice. So this takes some of the burden off. A wise man once said "Do not worry about harvest. It will only put lines on your face." I've also heard it say that worry is a misuse of imagination.

Thank you darklight. I am indeed seeking Creator. But not so fast that I get burned. They say that the closer you get to the light, the more pronounced your shadows become. So I am approaching at a slow pace, in order to integrate my shadow self. My shadow self wanted to kill me many times in the past by feeding me thoughts of suicide. And I was starting to believe it.
