Hey everyone! I just want to give a heads up to what's happening in our solar system, that might allow things to be put into perspective.

Along with our solstice energy and the super moon, starting tomorrow, Mercury goes retrograde. Mercury does this four times a year, where it appears to be "moving backwards" through the sky - it's just an illusion, however it still affects us here on little ol' earth in a lot of ways. Mercury rules communication, being the fastest planet we have, and when Mercury is in retrograde - everything involving communication/travel is at risk. Mercury is also the "trickster" so it's good to have good humor about any delays or setbacks that might occur.

What this means is to be aware that communications may get jarbled, car trips might take longer, vacations might have hindrances, etc. It's inadvisable to sign any contracts over the next 4 weeks or so, since it's likely that the terms will not be fully understood by both parties. Making sure you leave early if you have an appointment of any sort is good advice to take as well. Being prepared is half the battle! If you know that the catalyst is coming, it just becomes a test of your patience. BigSmile

I enjoy Mercury retrograde because it's one of those things that definitely affects all of us mortals at once. I can always "sense" it, since things start getting goofy up to a week before hand. I just want to advise all of you wise owls about what is occurring, so you can enjoy Mercury's "jokes" instead of getting frustrated. Smile

Mercury makes its retrograde stint in Cancer, so this means it will most affect the family, emotions, water, the home. Good luck to you all, whether you want to take an umbrella or play in the rain and jump in mud puddles is all up to you! Much love.

Ah, delightful! I'd yet to see anything on this specific subject in my time here. Was it faux pas to not bump one of the previous threads on the subject? I just never know when "necrobumping" is considered rude or required.

I enjoy mercury retrogrades actually (MR), it is a productive time for me to finish old, unfinished projects. Have signed contracts and begun new projects during the MR and they have gone smoothly. Perhaps this is bc I have a MR natally. Just like the full-moon or solar flares and 'crazy energy' it's an after thought that may help to explain something. Ultimately the planetary energies will align with one's distortions or whatnot. One repeated pattern tho is buying technological gadgets during MR - I learned not to do this bc w/o fail I bought computers on 2 occasions during M.R. and they both were malfunctioned (but then again I heard something like 20-30% of new computers malfunction so what are the odds).

Ah yes, indeed, people with Mercury RX natally are usually exempt from the shenanigans, but computers are usually testy too! Almost without fail my computer GPU fan starts making weird noises during Merc retro. Another "do not do" during Merc retro is installing new programs on your computer... I've had issues with this in the past as well.

I was born with Mercury stationary direct, which I've hardly found anything about in western astrology, but I think it's more meaningful to the Vedic astrologers.

there are bodies everywhere. just gotta know where to look.

    re-animation is an art-form.

watch Resident Evil movies before making an attempt.

I can sell you a shovel on the cheap too.

After I made my post last night, my computer began restarting itself. After three times I turned it off for the night.

This morning it was doing it again. It seems my graphics card finally died. Luckily we had a spare lying around. Tongue

I have a laptop so I think the graphics card is built into the motherboard.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. I must admit I had never heard of Mercury Retrograde before watching Teal Scott's video on the subject. Although I do believe in the power of the macrocosm over us (to a certain extent), I don't usually look at the stars for answer, preferring to find solutions right here right now to the issues that I face. Later on, sometimes, I become aware of celestial happenings and can make links with difficult, very good or crazy periods in my life.

Currently, I would say this event coincides with the busiest (craziest) time of my life work-wise, especially this past week. Clients with pressing deadlines, and a lot of tension from their side. I remain calm and work the best I can.

Well, I dunno if it's the Mercury factor, but I have definitely been having some communication problems. I had a 4 day weekend and left my phone charger at work so I was unreachable outside of e-mail and apparently my whole family has been trying to get in touch with me Tongue
