Little things like parking a little further away so that someone else can have the closer parking spot can demonstrate STO.
I've been parking under a shade tree because it keeps my truck cool for when I go home, but I might just give that up so someone else can have shade. Nobody would know the nice gesture. Particularly because on my lunch break I go out to my truck to relax for a bit, and having shade helps keep it cool. It's almost too hot in the sun.
