I have a bladder the size of a pea, so my body has adjusted to waking up every hour or two to go to the bathroom. These little "breaks" have actually evolved into a valuable processing time, where I figure out what the previous dream meant before heading into a new one. Quite often I will slide back into the same dream, but certain factors will have changed.
When I have the "energy work dreams" I am usually able to remember somewhat as to what I was doing and understand it a little more clearly than I do when I just wake up in the morning, because I've gotten used to operating out of a state where I am half asleep during my bathroom trips. It makes such perfect sense, then I hit a point of awakeness where POOF, it's just gone. Or sometimes not gone but just completely beyond any sort of coherent explanation.
