I am having issues sleeping, but not due to dreams though. My dreams, as usual, have been very boring and normal, with just enough emotional content for me to use them for balance.
For a very long time I would have no problem falling asleep...within 5 minutes of my head hitting the pillow I'd be out. For 1-2 months now, it's taken me at least an hour to fall asleep, and when I finally do get to sleep I experience something similar to what ahktu describes.
I can remember any noises or disturbances that happen throughout the night though I never actually wake up. I haven't woken up feeling refreshed since the sleep problems started. I've tried changing a few different things to see if there were some "real world" causes. I've altered my diet a few times, changed my pre-bedtime habits, rearranged my bedroom, tried cleansing my room a couple times...nothing has seemed to help. Coupled with this is a persistent dull, very light headache I feel as I try to fall asleep and for a while after I wake up.
