[Free Spirit]

Thanks for the responses guys. It's great to know that it touched some of you, that's one of the reasons I like sharing my "stuff".

Here's a first draft of a song made for a friend which is in a similar vein. I hope you guys like it.

Light

Wake and say my mornings grace
May your image fill this place
Place my face upon her breast
The warmth of her chest puts me to rest
The face of all is what I seek
No limits I see you to your peaks
Searching about day and night
For that thing we call light

love and light may seem different to he
The lords kingdom may seem far to she
But, if death only comes in threes
Then there may be something coming
For you and me

We’re gonna fly away, clear past the everglades
Toll away till we’ve collapsed in the shade
Hold one another till we begin to fade
Till love replace hate, till god retrace fate
I’ll cherish the moment, this day, this second
I reckon, this is what light feels like
The thing which illuminates the heavens at night
The substance which causes life to ignite.
