Working on yourself by yourself and liking solitude is not STS.

If you are applying the live and let live, you are very much STO. Do you do your things and let other people do theirs? That's extremely STO! STS would manipulate and control others around them if they thought it would benefit them.

STS is hard to understand what it is. For example, Rasputin was STS but he helped people because they asked him for help. Still many people believe that Rasputin manipulated the royal Romanov family, but the only thing what happened is that the family were very impressed in his healing powers.

I don't know much about Rasputin, but it seems to me that you've attached yourself to an embellished version of his story. The art of manipulation can be very subtle if you are very good at it. Subtle enough to result in people believing what you posted above.
