Well, I've made my decision. I'm not using the like button anymore.
What I would like is a button that just says "<username> was here <datetime>" (Valtor was here 2012-05-20) or something like that.
Just to confirm that we read the post. This way you don't always have to reply and the poster knows that you've read their post and gave notice.
