if a cow could speak

if a cow could speak what would he say

oh my god oh my god today is the day

that they take me to the yard and shoot a bolt into my brain

let me ask u human, have u ever felt such pain

then they take my body and hang it on a rack

and that is when they begin to hack

they chop and they cut and they place me in cellophane

and all the while no one thinks about my pain

i left behind a family a wife and two young calves

when they follow me they will be sawed in half

all of this happens away from prying eyes

because honestly human its not pretty when a cow is chosen to die
