Sounds like you've graduated, to me. Under difficult circumstances (military discipline, military environment where it is surely difficult to speak out and your perspective is not encouraged externally) you have committed yourself to serving others. Probably long ago, ages ago, but certainly by now. I suspect that you may be working on wisdom training. How to express yourself in a military environment in combat conditions? Good luck, it's a hard problem but advanced training is not easy! Not to worry, just do what feels right, would be my small perspective.
