Test of the Spirit means the way one balances that walk between the flesh and the spirit.
There is much instinctive reaction when dealing with the flesh that makes it extremely difficult to achieve that conciliation stage that Pickle speaks of. It is possible, but it takes a great dedication and understanding of one's true identity. if there is any sense of self there at all, that self will flee.
This is as difficult to attain as is astral projection or travel, for these same reasons.
