Hey Conifer!
I enjoyed your post very much, and your gentle and important reminder to just relax, laugh and love! To live with Joy!!! Thank you for giving us all this reminder. That's our Conifer -- everGREEN even in a cold climate.
Lately I've been trying to re-align my life and my posting to express more gratitude and joy and less angst.
I have noticed the conflicts too, and I'm ashamed to admit have even participated in some. But you know, I don't see it as a negative, really. It's just catalyst. I think all we've really been doing is exploring our distortions, individually and collectively. Given the types of lessons many of us are learning at this space/time nexus, this forum may be the only viable vehicle for certain learnings that we have currently. And by the way, though I'm far from neutral and unbiased, I adore Monkey and Monica both!
Though I don't claim to have LEARNED the lessons quite yet, from all this recent static I am...
Learning to let go of the need to be right
Learning to be tolerant of people who haven't yet let it go
Learning more Compassion for those who disagree with me
Learning more Respect for those with a different view
Learning to stop feeding my own vital energy into conflicts
Learning to stop debating with those who are communicating One-way
Learning to recognize that the flaws I perceive in others are also present in Me
Learning that Joy and finding the Love in the moment is more important than any debate topic
Learning to see all those about me as the Creator, whatever their views
I am grateful for all my Brothers & Sisters at Bring4th for helping me with these lessons as they work on their own.
Your post reminded me of some very wise words in a great song.
Traveling Wilburys - End Of The Line
Well it's all right, riding around in the breeze
Well it's all right, if you live the life you please
Well it's all right, doing the best you can
Well it's all right, as long as you lend a hand
You can sit around and wait for the phone to ring
Waiting for someone to tell you everything
Sit around and wonder what tomorrow will bring
Maybe a diamond ring
Well it's all right, even if they say you're wrong
Well it's all right, sometimes you gotta be strong
Well it's all right, As long as you got somewhere to lay
Well it's all right, everyday is Judgement Day
Maybe somewhere down the road aways
You'll think of me,wonder where I am these days
Maybe somewhere down the road when somebody plays
Purple haze
Well it's all right, even when push comes to shove
Well it's all right, if you got someone to love
Well it's all right, everything'll work out fine
Well it's all right, we're going to the end of the line
Don't have to be ashamed of the car I drive
I'm glad to be here, happy to be alive
It don't matter if you're by my side
I'm satisfied
Well it's all right, even if you're old and grey
Well it's all right, you still got something to say
Well it's all right, remember to live and let live
Well it's all right, the best you can do is forgive
Well it's all right, riding around in the breeze
Well it's all right, if you live the life you please
Well it's all right, even if the sun don't shine
Well it's all right, we're going to the end of the line
