The same type of thoughts run through my head too. But to me, not -all- STS entities have the intention of 'helping us to see what we are not'. It is only a small number, the Lucifer soul (a name is a dangerous thing especially such an old mythological name like Lucifer, so no need to harp on exactly who this soul is). The rest of STS are just suckers, copycats, aggressors, weaklings, manipulators, etc. Just as a veil was erected to protect us during this game, an insider was installed at the lowest point to keep that point in check and keep us on a pace by inspiring certain actions in humanity at specific times.
I personally have no fear of the elites due to the almost humorous ways they control the system. The basic idea of using their symbols to tag everything they've touched throughout history shows me they are trying to teach us, to show us where we're weak, to show us what they control that we should have fortified better. There is a system in place for harvest as we know, and if you think about HH in terms of what Ra taught us about the negative path, it makes sense that it is possible to graduate 4D negative, then pop back up to 4D+ and back to 6D. I have come to have no fear of anything, truly, and until people reach that point they will not understand Lucifer, the elite, the Orions, or any of this.
