All good points. Much in this world can be ego-serving. A lot of "new age" material is. I recall hearing that certain ego-driven movie stars (not Shirley MacClain) were told that they were advanced ETs or past royalty.
On the other hand, so what? It is up to us to discern for ourselves. If an individual wants to spend his/her time feeding the ego, then in my opinion they are wasting their time yet they have free will to do so. It's too bad, as the world is need of waking up.
If one is being honest with one's self, then information such as being a wanderer can help clarify things. The clarity must come from within, however, and not a blind acceptance of any material.
