What comfort does one find in identifying themselves as a wanderer? Doesn't it serve as a sort of escapism and separation from the present?
like all things, the use of this knowledge is up to you. One can dream of being this all powerful being in another density who 'chose a great sacrifice to come to earth' if that is the narrative you want to tell yourself.
yes, it can be wishful thinking.

it is more self-knowledge. A lot of people are truly skeptical of the uses and applications of say astrology, but used in the right way, it can inform you of some of the biases you might have 'inherited' as part of your birth/energy signature. Again, how far you want to take it is up to you.
speaking personally, I teared up when I first came across the description of a Wanderer in the book 'the Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce'. It just made sense to me, explained all the feelings and sensations that I had. It's just a sense of total rightness with this description of my being.
Quote:When I look at the various quizzes and descriptions of wanderer identification, sometimes it seems to me like those depression medication commercials. "Are you sad? Do you feel alone? Like you don't belong?" Honestly, I don't know a single person who hasn't felt this way at one point or another.
agreed . This isn't meant to be a conclusive diagnosis, or any attempt to box people into certain categories. It's a springboard into further self-inquiry. Often, just asking the right questions can trigger the answer/response in your own mind. It's never about anyone else telling you what the answer is.
Quote:Also, in relation to plenum's descriptions of 4D, 5D, 6D wanderers, how can we tell someone is a wanderer from that density and not a 3D native who is working in those energy centers, reached that level of spiritual awareness, or wants to be different?
I did ask myself this question after I had posted. I guess one would first make the determination first if you are a Wanderer or not. Then one would try to refine the type of Wanderer you are. In the end, this narrowing down is not that important; one still has to deal with life and its problems, and find the best way to navigate things.
the question of comparing energy centers of a Wanderer and a 3d being who has made advanced progress is an interesting one. Ra claims that a Wanderer comes into Earth with only their 3d body activated, and is, for all intents and purposes, a 3d being because they cannot activate their higher density abilities.

Secondly, the free will of third-density entities needs be preserved. Thus Wanderers volunteer for third-density genetic or DNA connections to the mind/body/spirit complex. The forgetting process can be penetrated to the extent of the Wanderer remembering what it is and why it is upon the planetary sphere. However, it would be an infringement if Wanderers penetrated the forgetting so far as to activate the more dense bodies and thus be able to live, shall we say, in a god-like manner. This would not be proper for those who have chosen to serve.

I guess the bit in bold is why I posed the queston to the forum originally.
to sum up, I find this very comforting knowledge. If it appears arrogant and self-delusional to others, that perception is out of my control
