I understand exactly how you feel Peel. Humanity is not always an entity that deserves trust nor respect. Maybe I can help you with that dilemma.
Think of humanity as a place rather than a species and you will see what I mean.
This is a place where lessons are learned and beings are taken from one stage to another on a long journey of transformation. It is full of situations and circumstances that result from the opportunity that choice affords. It is filled with greed using its talents to benefit itself. it is filled with power always seeking to conquer.
It is also filled with love and compassion appearing at just the right times in disaster and suffering. And courage and determination that continues to strive ahead in the worst of times.
Humanity is a land of extremes and opposites, and it is not always a pretty place. But it is a great place to learn from every angle and to grow from that learning.
We are not here to experience all things beautiful and calm. we are here to experience All things. And when we do, and when we have grown, and when we finally move on from this place, than we shall see the true beauty of the place on the Other Side.
Be not dismayed with the state of humanity because it serves its true purpose well. See the good with the bad, and learn from it all so that you strive toward the Light instead of the Darkness. Than you shall know your true humanity and love it.
