Perhaps you were linked into another aspect of yourself, in another life, dimension, or incarnation, in which telekinesis wasn't 'nerfed' for Wanderers :¬)

I have had vivid -and when I say vivid, I mean absolutely real- past life memories and experiences come into my consciousness. They too, do not have the 'dream instinct' that you speak of, and which I agree with.

Last night as an example, I started to dream and thought "Hang on, I was just asleep in bed, this is a dream". The feeling is quite distinct.
