So that is so cool that you were able to(if you meant that it was not a dream or something)

I would equate this to 'trying' during meditation or 'trying' to create an OBE. There is no trying, no effort needed. Just as all mental processes are unneeded for awareness. Awareness is always-already pure and unadulterated.
The sky is open and vast, infinite like our awareness. Thoughts are clouds that pass through, in infinite forms, but their 'form' is only arises in difference, that is, in contrast to our awareness of it and towards other things.
I don't know how to define 'dream', but if you mean in the conventional sense, then no. I was not dreaming. I felt very aware- the sounds, taste of my mouth, the breeze on my hair, the crinkling of my socks, the warmth of the blankets.
Zen- I was very much in a similar state of meditation in contrast to my regular, longer meditation sessions (2 hours + sessions). I would equate it to the first Jhana (Dhyana) state.
The perception was quite clear- visually and auditory senses all seemed crisp and clear. The emotion I had was of light joy- a calm, peaceful, infinite, pervading happiness in peace.
It was 'easy' to manifest what I thought- the doors were a strange test. Not sure why 'i' chose this test, but it happened instantaneously. I just thought about it, it happened, and I knew this to be acceptable, normal.
Nothing felt unnatural.
I rested in the void for a while, which I am inclined to think was a transition towards the first formless Jhana state.
In the buddhist tradition however, "psychic" abilities are achieved only after mastering the form/formless Jhana states through meditation. There is no chance that I have mastered such states in five years of meditation.
This leads me to believe I was shown this state for catalyst. There is still a bit of catalyst to work out for myself.
