    A very good question, and I don't think the answer is black or white. Sometimes one can act in ways which seem entirely out of balance, yet ultimately help someone in very profound ways (especially long term).

    I do think however, that a more balanced person can offer help of a more specific nature, and will have more tools in which to empower another (I tend to equate balance with wisdom - personal experience of truth).
