Years ago there were a lot of that kind of small spot in the map, with no industry or big urban developments close to them; and they left progresively uninhabitated. But in recent times there's been an intense migrant stream from America and East Europe and there's a chance that part of that movement has been used to populate some places. But, knowing how the world works, these poor people have been probably used in the monetary sense and so located or driven to the cities. But I really don't know with certainty.
If you find a good place to stay and intend on building a lightworker community there, tell me.
I think Avila would be good... first because of the St. Teresa and the meaning of the name is "eagle", isn't it? (or was it aquila??)![]()
Nice symbolism!
I think that Avila is etymologically older than Aquila (sound alike though :-)
And don't rely on the eagle symbolism... Don't remember now who was exactly (washington, Jefferson, Franklin?), but when they disscused about the symbols of the nation they were projecting, one of them prefered the snake to the eagle, as she only attacks for food and in self-defense, but the later is a scavenger.
