The human body is based on the great ape and it is said that most ETs look very similar to us, are their body also based on the great ape, do they have great ape on their planets?

Personally, those other planets might have pretty good apes, but I think only our planet has truly great apes.

More seriously, by Earth having monkeys and apes contributes to our Confusion by giving rise to the Darwinian evolution debate. It also encourages 3Ders to feel kinship with the whole planetary population. I like that.
