Not only would it be less stressful, we'd be taking a lot of our own power back from the financial/banking industries. We've been convinced that to have anything "worth having," we have to put it on credit, including "higher education." Putting ourselves in debt is a quick and easy way to allow someone else to have power over us.
But, I don't think crumbling of the systems in place would be bad. Perhaps if you went into it thinking "this isn't going to be fun," you might have a negative experience. But in that sense, our reality is under our control. You can decide to come out the other side of a system-crumble better than before, and you'll be guided to do just that.
