Japan's NHK has an English language channel that most of the day presents a half hour of news on the hour. In the SF Bay Area it's on channel 26-2. A couple of the public TV stations also carry their news once in a while, called Newsline. Each newscast begins with coverage about Fukushima.
RT is fun to watch, but it almost always finds fault with whatever it covers. I always assumed it is a leftover attitude from the old days when anything non-Soviet is corrupt and foolish.
