thank you for sharing your story, I enjoyed reading it and resonated with a lot of the feelings and experiences you describe, especially feeling like an outsider in school and being drawn to art and music. To be honest, I also envy that you found a group of supportive friends after you switched colleges, as I have never had such a group myself and have longed for it since I was a kid.
Anyway, I think your perspectives are right on, including your outlook on money. I have learned to live comfortably on very minimal finances, and aspire to self-sufficiency as my goal..
