The best and by far easiest way I've found is to do the balancing exercise that Ra gave in which one uses an emotion such as anger. It appears that strong emotion is the indicator of imbalance. This also fits in quite well with what others refer to as "releasing". It can lead to some authentic breakthrough experiences. What it essentially is is a process of reconciling duality. Though I should have looked it up to provide exact quotes, I apologize that I didn't. Nonetheless, you simply identify an unwanted emotion such as anger. You allow it to expand in your mind as much as it will. This is simply an experiencing it or allowing it without judgment. My experience is that once it's validated in this manner, it will begin to float away. Then you allow the opposite of that emotion to be fully felt in the mind in the same manner. For anger, it would be love, or acceptance, or forgiveness. You do the same with it. In this manner, you are reconciling the opposites, and you will feel delivered and free, and as I say, it can lead to some real breakthrough experiences, or it has done so with me.
