All this talk of apocalyptic dreams made me remember one my husband had a while back. He said we were sitting on the hood of my car in this neighborhood near his workplace, and there was an eclipse, only it looked like the sun was right in front of us- it was absolutely huge. He said it was a black circle with the flames coming around the edges. I looked at him and, very calmly, said "Apophis is coming."

At the time neither of us had any idea that Apophis is both an ancient Egyptian god of destruction and the name of a meteor that some have predicted will hit the earth sometime in the future. Creepy...
