"...Yet the entirety of the creation is harmonious..."  reminds me of something I heard from Alan Watts, "...chaos on one level is order on another...".   Crazy to think that the act of some animal being eaten alive (purely horrific to witness) is also divine and absolutely necessary for balance at a higher level (the ecosystem).  I still can't help but think there must be planets with a slightly less violent system for transferring energy from one creature to another.  Planet Earth must be like the school of hard knocks for souls.

Thank you for insights into the quote, its all a paradox when it comes to the spiritual(as Ra says )   On one end the end of plant/animal/insect or creature leavings its body for another may not appear pleasant but then as you mention the opposite for the divine aspect too. Reminds me of documentary type series Serengeti that shows those two aspects by inviting you into the lives of different animals groups in Africa an how they live an survive, depend on one another.
