Open Door Policy on Ideas (Free Will)
A basic tenet that we need in seeking, is a good respect for Free Will – both yours and others. When searching, I am expressing my Free Will to another. My actions are basically saying, “Yes, come and share your thoughts with me”. I am not there to judge this teacher as a person or berate the ideas. I also have Free Will to “take what resonates with me and leave the rest”. These attitudes have served well, because thoughts and concepts have a way of coming back around as we constantly seek.
Whether I am sharing or listening, I try to keep Free Will forefront in my mind and heart. I can only guide, or another can only suggest. My human mind can only express or collect a thought, which is simply an intellectual concept. The seeker will be stimulated to turn their thinking inward; this is entirely up to the seeker.
