What a person finds electrifying, inspiring, and all that is best in the life experience thus far, will vary person to person.
Traditional meditation methods have their own visualizations, depending on the system this will be a meaningful image, or a meaningless image.
My advice if you want to pursue that method is to first reflect on your own life and the symbolism which evokes those feelings in yourself. Then draw your own symbol, it can be anything which evokes those feelings, a bird, a tree, a waterfall, or a building, or an abstract symbol such as the bagua or taiji. Then use that symbol that you personally have that reaction to, or represents what you have that reaction to.
The symbol should be relatively easy to visualize for beginners. Complex symbols are difficult to start with. You can always start with a simplified symbol and add complexity as you progress.
