Use of The Pendulum

I prefer to call the level just below human consciousness as the subconsciousness and the unconsciousness is what is "not known" to the individual as in mental/emotional patterns (ie; the collective unconsciousness of mankind) and so forth. I guess they can be used interchangeably however. To my understanding, the subconsciousness is directly related to the Akasha, the Hall of Records.
