I’ve seen pictures of your gardens in another thread. Do you live mainly off the grid? What was the transition like? And what do you do for money? Don’t mean to be nosy, feel free to ignore any and all of these questions I’m just curious what a transition would look like

I'm not off the grid, but would be if it was practical for me.  Where we live, there is no possibility of getting water from a well, so all water comes from surficial water, and requires electricity to pump to homes.  So our only possibility of (clean) water is the municipal supply.  I recognize this as a structural vulnerability.
