So my problem is the following. After reading through the material several times, and also reading up on the topic from other scriptures and finding many nuggets of information, i came to the conclusion that constant thinking distorts the reality around one. This is all fine and good. But then the real question is this: If I managed to meditate all throughout the day, and simply be present in the now, without reacting to stuff or distorting the energy coming through me by thinking, what am I going to see around me ? Because I notice more and more as I observe my thoughts more carefully that almost everything around me used to be a thought of mine, at some point in time, before I stumbled into it. So, if I managed to stop thinking, what would I see?
Thanks for all the answers in advance for helping me
The simple answer is, you don't need to spend the whole day in Meditation, or living in the Moment. It is simpler to learn the "Art of Being" (in the Now). In other words, allow yourself to recognize the Inner Stillness, and control how you think. Do you think because the Mind is out of control, and the "Master", or do you think because you want to think? The perfect example. If I have nothing to discuss, (with myself), I don't have the discussion. In other words, controlling how I think. If there is nothing to discuss, stay silent. Allow the "Inner Reality" to decide when something needs to be discussed. Or, allowing Intuitive Mind to take precedence over Intellectual Mind. It sounds simple, although it takes practice. Once you have mastered the "Art of Being", it is the first step to Liberation.
