Can someone point me to a good definition of the systems of sevens in regards to understanding tarot?

I am not a tarot expert but I believe the explanation of Ra as to the sevenfold nature of the Tarot is unique to the Ra material. The best resource is probably the Archetypes sub-forum here but the information will be scattered and require a lot of time to sift through.
