What is stillness?

Saraswati is the Indian goddess of arts, music, speech and wisdom. She appears in the Rigveda. She is also linked to water, lakes and ponds and is often painted with a luth sitting next to a lake. I always liked her because she is also very witty, she is a fun goddess. I have an image of her and I often start a mediation with it and there's always a blissful feeling, perhaps it's all that water...
