Conversations with Higher Self: Finding Meaning

So lately I have become aware of the thoughts / conversations that are occurring in my mind right before I wake up in the morning. Sometimes when I let myself drift partially in and out of wakefulness I can become consciously aware of these continuing dialogues that are happening in my mind. I have to consciously remember to remember them or else I forget them almost immediately.

This morning I was thinking / conversing / pondering with my Self about finding meaning in life.

Specifically, lately I have been using tarot cards to gain further self insight and I find myself really enjoying the process of finding meaning through the cards.

That led my mind to think about the different ways that people have "divined" information from across the veil. Reading palms, throwing animal bones in a cup and reading how they lay, crystal balls, etc .. I think there is even a woman on YouTube who does readings by finding meaning from the stains left in her espresso mug.

The point is that our experience of consciousness is constantly taking in raw data and applying meaning to it.

Once you have that established you can take it a step further and come to the realization that there are messages coming at us from across the veil constantly.

One can find messages and meaning in everything.

You only have to become aware.

I can see why becoming enlightened / awakened is risky in that if one starts to search for and take meaning from everything all the time with no proper filter, then schizophrenic symptoms start to arise.

What I am concluding here is that the Unseen world is always available and constantly sending us messages. We just have to apply the meaning to the information coming in, in order to receive it.
