MF good replies. It’s been a long day but I want to touch on the disassociation thing since you and I were dancing at different angles. I see your perspective but I wasn’t actually talking if that type of disassociation. We are all on such different experiential paths.
It doesn’t really matter but I thought I would try to more clearly explain which part of the quote I intended to reference.
This quote “Ra: I am Ra. This is likely to occur. The apparent happening is disassociation whether the truth is service to self and thus true disassociation from other-selves or service to others and thus true association with the heart of all other-selves and disassociation only from the illusory husks which prevent the adept from correctly perceiving the self and other-self as one.”
It is known that part of the process of become one with all, is losening the egos grip as body/mind=self. Or as Ra puts it in the quote I posted above the illusory husk as self.
This is the disassociation I was meaning regarding self.
In shamanism for instance, true shamanism not the modified modern version the shaman little by little drops what he/she considers self. Eventually they are what us called a hollow bone.
They are no one, because in this way they are one with all which is one. Healing can work on others, and even be accepted by self in one body on behalf of self in another body. Both are equally that which is below the illusion. Identify self at the point below and you become one with all.
Obviously I’m not there, and actually do not aim to be fully, though when I was in a shamanic group my big intent was set as : to be enough self, and enough everything/one else to experience only membrane thin seperation between. Experience self on both sides. Kind of like the moment before merging when all becomes one again.
So I assume my path has a long term plan for this process and can utilize it as creators experience even if by 80 I’m so enraptured by oneness that I’m a babbling loon. I bet it will be happy babbling.
Nothing of that is apathetic though. One can feel more compassion when ones own ego blockages do not constantly measure separation which is rejection of unity.
It’s full of compassion and love because once a bit behind ego you really see each is doing each selfs honest best even if they don’t think they are.
Forgiveness gives way to forgiveness not even making sense because you understand so wouldn’t judge. I think I’m at this point about 90% of the time. Those i can’t yet “get” at least I know not to blame, it’s just this selfs experiential blind spot.
Anyways it’s not truly important. We may still be dancing in misunderstanding. It was just the apathy comment that made me feel we had a wide gulf in our attempt at communicating.
We can work away at it over the next decade or 2.
these husks of identity are so real sometimes.
I appreciate your intention to understand and be understood.
