I too seem somewhat drawn to writing protest songs dealing with the darker aspects of our existence.
I had two songs destined to be on the new album that dealt with quite dark subjects and were darker in musical moods.
They were "Sinister Agendas" and "Sickened By The State".
I had to trim the track count down from 12 to 10, and it seemed most appropriate to drop the two darkest, and emotionally gloomy tracks from the album, especially with the dark phase Humanity has entered into with the pandemic.
It seems appropriate to offer a more positive, happy and uplifting set of songs at this very difficult time for most people.
