He's doing it to be noble. But he should have known how it would end up looking. If I were him, I would quickly and publicly take the injection to show confidence. (And for the conspirationalists, all he has to do is take a shot of solute instead of the vaccine ).
Hi All. I just wanted to offer a different perspective for there are many narratives, many "reality tunnels", these days and one must stretch the mind somewhat to be able to relate to people these days.
The far far majority of people are pro-vaccination. People are desperate for this vaccination to become available so that they can get back to their lives and jobs. The majority of people are anxious about these companies being able to produce enough vaccines, and to reach all the individuals who desire it.
Therefore, it would have been good public relations for the CEO to not use his position of power to "jump the queue", potentially taking away a vaccine shot from someone who is more medically vulnerable. It's a show of anti-elitism in a way.
I am not saying the above is true and you must believe it and adopt that position. I'm only asking that we consider all sides. Thanks
