Nice soundscapes and good singing voice, as in the previous album.
The consistently uplifting tone and some other parts of the style seem quite distinct. It's indeed happy-sounding, though personally it feels a bit mixed in seeming to lack a type of variation. Good luck with going further, as it seems like you've really got going.
Hi Asolsutsevyl,
Thanks for taking the time to listen and for the feedback.
You're totally correct that this is a less personal album, although being a much happier affair, I do wonder what this says about my personal life!
Whilst I'd love to have the beautiful voice of Jim Morrison or Bono, I'm content in the fact that I haven't, in that, with a little bit of professional digital tweaking, my singing is at least listenable.
It's a tricky business creating distinctive music with a particular style without it sounding a bit samey...
I've tried to mitigate this a bit with "One's Never Enough" by the variety of lyrical content and moods.
Thanks again for your compliments man - I appreciate it.
Cheers
Jim
