I was reading about Card Four recently and Ra said something about a "great cat":

95.23 Questioner: What I meant to say was that the entity is guarded along the right-hand path, once it has chosen this path, from effects of the material illusion that are of the negative polarity. Would Ra comment on that?

Ra: I am Ra. This is an accurate perception of our intent, O student. We may note that the great cat guards in direct proportion to the purity of the manifestations of intention and the purity of inner work done along this path.

I thought it was a rabbit when I first saw it, its a pretty funny looking cat. Anyways, I think its funny because when Ra talks about a great cat guarding someone on the STO path all I can think about is how lazy and self absorbed my cat is and how it probably wouldn't even guard the house from robbers, let alone guard someone from negative catalyst. Ra might as well have chosen the great sloth or the great chipmunk.
