I take your point about the cynicism. It probably feels unfriendly to some.
So, to be more direct: In recent years there has been surge, it has seemed to me, of members who don't stay around all that long, but use these spaces to declare that they have the inside scoop on the deep secrets of the universe. Typically, they don't say, "It looks to me like..." or "As I see it...." Rather, they express themselves as if they are gifted oracles when they show no basis for this assumption. I feel that it's perfectly reasonable to challenge such behaviour because it has a slow deleterious effect upon the forums in general, in my view. This way of discussing the unseen in these forums has a way of moving the center of concern (the focus of reality) towards the small self and away from the central Mystery. (BTW, I've only been acting this way since the moderators seemed to have all fallen asleep.)
By the way, Y, when you wish to embolden a text (b /b) use the square brackets [], not the pointy ones <>. Your intentions will be better manifested that way, so to speak.
