Do animals or 2nd density beings interact with higher density beings?

This question also reminds me of the nature spirits. If I remember correctly, RA mentioned something along those lines as well. They essentially help with the development of 2nd density entities, forests and animals, etc. Though, I don't know what level of development / density these other nature spirits come from.
