Look on YouTube for how to use a pendulum. That is probably the best way to start by asking yes/no questions.

Then, you can observe your imagination. Talk to your imagination like you're talking to a person. 9/10 times it will be your guide if you intend that.
You may think you're just making it up, but the more you develop this, the greater it will get.
