this is how God chooses to show himself to me as. I can see the appeal. Fascinating that he's showing himself as a fox again.
The bible says not to have any graven image, but I can feel God's love through this image. It helps me connect, and it is pure as I can make it.

The Biblical graven image idea was put forth to fight against the competing pagan god worship of the time. Pagan worship always included a statue of the god which was then worshiped directly as the god. The view was that once an image of the god was created, that god extended itself to reside within the statue, thereby being able to see and participate in the ritual of worship. I suppose in a strange sense, the Christian Communion rite is this way, as bread and wine are converted literally (at least in the Catholic Church) into Jesus Christ, who then is literally there during the worship.

Anyway, God the Father had no image because he was a spirit. He could appear to people in any guise he wanted, but the Israelites were not supposed to capture any specific guise and view it literally as God's image. But that was then, again to fight against the tendency in ancient religion to worship a god within a statue. As you may know, the Israelites were not very spiritually advanced. Supposedly, Moses goes up on a mountain for 40 days and when he returns the Israelites have reverted to pagan worship of Moloch in calf form. So keeping them on the straight and narrow was pretty frustrating. LOL

I don't see how you have anything to be concerned about if you keep reminders of the guise in which God represents himself to you. I doubt very much that you are bowing down to it and worshipping the guise in place of God.
