That's the way I picture it with one main difference.
The truth is that there are 14 chakras.
The reason why you see 7 depicted is because the 6 composed the energy body and the 7th is the energy flowing in to the 6 others like a vacuum drawing in the crown energy.
I read
http://sahajayogaencyclopedia.org/index....Sahastrara
I also read this lately and in the later sections it describes 9 chakras below and 14 above.

This all reminds me of how navaratna the 9 planets and jewels of Vedic astrology is describing 7 chakras along with the moon as 8 and sun as 9. "14 above" as in the entirety of the chakras on an astrological level.
in the sahaja yoga link the description is very appropriate it indicates that 7 and 7 can be split in to two halves. 7 for the body, 7 more for the moon, sun, and even more astronomic bodies which we are not seemingly physically composed of yet are shaped by. The moon does alter female hormone cycles and tides of the ocean for example. But we don't have a physical antenna above our head which makes it obvious
Osiris in his legend had his body separated in to 14 pieces. one half of the hourglass being 7 the top being another 7
heres a chakra diagram including moon and sun

moon is considered passive. sun as active force
