My estimate of how things will go down from here is somewhat in between the two posited extremes of mass open contact, and 30-50 more years of most of the craft you see being government psi-op reverse engineered bullshit. The early channelings on this site from the 70's talk about how contact will be made on the basis of individuals and small groups first, while respecting the free will of the majority of those still "asleep", or not requesting said contact. That time is here. At this point in time, the people who want and permit positive contact will be open to getting it like never before, and those who want no part of it will not be bothered by fully open contact for some time yet, perhaps decades still. Look up CE5, it's not bullshit, it's not negatives, it's not human government factions in their 50% LS shitter craft. Those who wish to open up to contact will no longer be ignored, the situation is too urgent, and our free will must be respected, just as that of those who don't want it. The monkeys that "run the zoo" get their enclosure, undisturbed from contact, but they don't get to dictate for the rest of us when or how or what sort of contact we are or aren't ready for. We don't have to do pushups for the weakest links in humanity, this is not some stupid army drill. The ET's are no longer waiting for them to come around in order to make any contact. If you, as an individual, or certain small groups with a unity of intent are ready, you can experience contact NOW. Bypass the system and find out for yourself...

Is it true if you stand close to a high-vibe STO being it will cause all your unresolved subconscious issues to come to the surface?

Perhaps. I think there's something to that idea, maybe not all of your issues, but there will be trepidation you didn't know you had. It will be intense. I have not had face to face contact in any time that I can remember, possibly in childhood in experiences where I already was in a state where I made my way up past what Lyssa Royal Holt calls the "pain fear band", where all that junk resides. Most CE5 experiencers have seen craft and had ETs partially materialize in a waking state, but full on contact at the level you are talking might be reserved for when people are in the right state to deal with it. Like I said, that's an individual basis.
