Reaper knows what the dark adepts believe because Reaper was one. As for how they figure this, again, I say self projection. Also, they have their own dark resources of understanding, undoubtedly affected by higher negative beings' input.

This is why I called it self projection. Dark adepts are extreme solipsists. Their OWN awareness is all that matters to each and every one of them, and they disown the self they see in others, so to them "Good for thee, but not for me" makes perfect sense.
