Are wanderers still needed and if not, why did we come here?

I would also note that some of us are still here because of how royally we screwed up in our attempts to be of service. Like Ra we remain to try to untangle ourselves from what was done and to smooth out the effects of the damage we caused. In the case of my little group this was thousands of years ago and the vast majority of us are still struggling mightily to put the brakes on what amounted to a snowballing downward spiral of karma. While we came in with the best of intentions we wound up being responsible for the destruction of an entire city and it scarred us at a deep unconscious level. I more-or-less cleared my individual involvement some time ago, but stay out of love for my fellows. At this point most of them have a better chance at graduating negative than positive this cycle, yet even that is unlikely. As Ra said, a certain level of foolhardiness is required to volunteer to wander, as there is always the chance of being swept away in the maelstrom of karma pervading a plane such as this one. If I was given the option again, knowing what I know now, I would probably turn it down, yet it is what it is and I've learned a great deal from the experience.
