Different types of slavery can be acknowledged on this world. To name a few:
There is the Epstein type sexual slavery of young women.
Selling children into slavery type work arrangements.
Bondage resulting from the western banking system.
Immigrants coming to the U.S. working under slavery-like conditions.
At the same time, we could just as easily focus on the enormous opportunities for choice/freewill. Maybe at first not full freedom to change one’s material circumstances, but freewill to choose one’s response and emotions.

I don’t know other people’s back story – how they arrived at where they are. Did they experience other lifetimes where the roles of dominator and victim were reversed? Did today’s slave incarnate in that role to temporarily experience the pain of slavery conditions, enabling themselves to better serve in the role of helping reduce others’ burdens of slavery?
